ZixVPM™

ZixCorp’s Virtual Private Messenger (VPM) solution is a server-based service for enterprises requiring security and encryption for inbound and outbound email communications. ZixVPM provides secure email correspondence among remote employees, customers, and business partners without requiring you to create, deploy and manage end-user encryption keys and software. ZixVPM operates independently of existing email systems and integrates seamlessly with scanning and filtering tools and policies. It is also completely transparent to end-users and requires neither individual private or public keys nor desktop software.

ZixBlast™

ZixBlast is a secure high-volume electronic messaging solution for enterprises needing to communicate confidential information to customers or other large audiences. With ZixBlast, organizations receive status and delivery confirmation of their secure, time-stamped messages in detail and summary reports. Built on ZixCorp’s core technology, ZixBlast utilizes ZixMail, ZixVPM, and the Message Center to deliver secure encrypted messages to anyone without the costs of traditional bulk mail campaigns.

ZixMail™

ZixMail allows users to easily send encrypted and digitally signed email communications to any recipient, even if the recipient is not also equipped with ZixMail or other ZixCorp services. The ZixMail client application features an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical user interface that looks like any other email application but works with the user’s current email address. ZixMail plug-ins are available for Microsoft Outlook® and Lotus Notes® and provide the same functionality as the ZixMail client application, but within the Outlook or Notes environment and using the existing Outlook or Notes user interface.

Secure Data Center™

Central to ZixCorp technology is the Secure Data Center, which ensures seamless secure delivery of all electronic messaging. The center, carefully designed for non-stop operations, has the capacity, scalability, and infrastructure to easily support encryption keys for every email address in the world.

As can be seen from the online tour, ZixCorp maintains hardware and network redundancy for all critical systems so that no single point of failure exists. The building has redundant electrical feeds from independent utility power grids, dual uninterruptible power supplies, a backup diesel generator and redundantly configured power distribution units. There are multiple ISPs, redundantly configured DS3 fiber connections, and redundant routers. All servers are Sun Microsystems, Solaris-based systems. The data center is also staffed 24 hours a day with operations personnel constantly monitoring the facilities, networks, systems, and applications.
